Awa was commissioned by the Greater Wellington Regional Council (GWRC) to perform a review of their existing models of the Hutt River and how they compare to reality in order to improve the quality of the models.
The models and numerous simulation results were provided by the GWRC to Awa. The results were reviewed to detect anomalies and the models checked to determine the causes of them. A report was then provided to the client listing issues, their causes and recommended solutions.
